How to Attach Files to Emails in HubSpot

In HubSpot, you can attach files to one-to-one sales emails sent from a contact record.

By attaching files, you can share important documents directly within your CRM workflow, ensuring seamless communication with your contacts.

Marketing Email Limitation: To improve deliverability and reduce email load times, HubSpot does not support attachments in marketing emails.

As a workaround, you can link to a file stored in your HubSpot file manager, allowing recipients to access necessary documents without impacting email performance.

Attach a File to a Sales Email

Follow these steps to attach a file to a one-to-one sales email:

1. Navigate to the Contact Record

   • In your HubSpot account, go to CRM > Contacts.

   • Click the name of the contact you want to email.

2. Open the Email Editor

   • Click the Email tab at the top of the contact record.

   • Compose your email.

3. Attach a File

   • Click the Attach button.

   • Choose one of the following options:

     • Upload: Select a file from your computer.

     • Choose Existing File: Select a file from your HubSpot file manager.

   • Important Note: Files already attached to a record cannot be selected for attachment.
